COLASSA

So what I’ve grown fifty feet
since you last saw me and my feet

are just a bit-ish filled with fifty
silver fishes of eight?

You see I’ve found new ways to escalate.

Excelsior, darling, for I’ve still one pleasure,
one true pleasure like one rogue bone —

a wandering coccyx shocking
each inch of my inside.

The rooster searches for his plumage
up my skirts. The sun

in a sundress chafes his fat thighs.
He’d like to treat me like a drum but

he slides light off my bronze fondue
into a binge of blue

where beribboned fishbones
coxcomb thou-sand-thru

silver waves. A stormy door
swing-dances between my shanks.

The only way past me is you.
